FAQs

(frequently asked questions)

Battery care will vary slightly depending on the type of battery your Seascooter uses:

Lead-Acid Batteries:After use, it’s important to fully recharge the battery within 24–72 hours. Importantly, this needs to be done, before putting the unit into storage.Storing a battery in a depleted state can cause permanent damage, which is commonly irreversible.Once fully charged, the battery can be stored for up to 3 months. If storing for longer, simply recharge it back to full every 3 months, before returning it to storage.

Lithium-Ion Batteries:The same principles apply as mentioned above — Always recharge the battery shortly after use (within 24–72 hours), but before storage.Lithium batteries can typically be stored for up to 6 months, with a recharge recommended at least every 6 months if unused.

Important:Seascooter batteries should never be stored in a depleted state, as this can lead to irreversible damage and costly replacements. For convenience, charging guidance is also displayed on the battery itself as a reminder.

We ship all over the UK and also to Ireland, Netherlands, Belgium & Luxemburg.
